		<description>How about a .deb that actually installs on Debian too instead of being limited to only working on Ubuntu?

I have version 2.6.5-2 of libpurple0 but the .deb requires &gt;= 1:2.5.0. Ubuntu for some reason adds an 1: to the beginning of the version numbers for their libpurple0 packages while Debian does not.</description>
