The idea of Pidgin is that you can have multiple protocols in the same client and have uniform plugins. Please keep it as it is.

Mistyped, when I said native should have said standalone. You know what I mean.

That would be amazing. Plugging in with pidgin is nice and all, but a native client, and one that's more friendly with KDE, would be amazing.

If there will ever be a stand-alone Gfire client, it will be better to concentrate on Linux since there is no native Xfire client (and running the Xfire client via WINE is not recommendable either).

Then follow on Mac since Xfire doesn't provide a Mac-native client either. Windows can be pretty much ignored, if I will take a wild guess, most Pidgin gamers who are Xfire users will more likely use the Xfire client 'just because' they're using Windows anyway. Only the advance users (and those who have no need for the extra features) will still use Pidgin+Gfire.

This way you can concentrate on making the stand-alone client better on Linux, then later Mac. (If you ever decide on it ;) )

That... Would be nice! I love having xfire within my msn client, but additional features sounds great as well. I'm generally using gtk apps, but I would make an exception for gfire :)
